Hi! This is a community for Silver Queen's Naruto fanfiction Dreaming of Sunshine. We really really like it.

Wafflelate is running the Dreaming of Sunshine exchange out of this comm, but you can continue to post as normal! We're not a very fast-moving community and everything will be tagged and linked together. People who aren't wafflelate definitely shouldn't make posts about the exchange, though, that's rude.

Content you can post here

• Fanfiction — Some people like to post it straight to the comm (with a cut) so that all discussion happens here. Other people like to use a fake cut to direct readers back to their own journal. Either is fine! You can also post links for fics posted off-site. You're encouraged to self-promo!


• Fanart, fanvids, fancomics, etc — You'll probably have to host offsite if it's anything big, but we'd love to see it! Please use a cut or thumbnail for larger images.


• Meta — We love meta! Analysis, worldbuilding, it's all good! It's best for your meta to be a couple hundred words if you're going to post or link it here, though. Short observations or anything meant to induce discussion should go in a discussion post.


• Community announcements — Doing a cool project? Need help with something? Let us know!

Community guidelines

• Teen/PG-13 rating. It's fine if your DW has NSFW content, but fanworks and discussion on the comm should stay about the same rating as DoS does. If you have a fanwork with more mature content or want to host a discussion about something that exceeds the Teen rating, it's fine to advertise that on the comm as long as what's displayed here is appropriately rated. EG, as long as your Mature-rated fic's summary is PG-13 or lower, you could post the title and summary and then link to the fic.The only exception to this is...


• No sex scenes with Shikako. Please don't even link to explicit fic with Shikako, because she's a self-insert, SQ browses our community, and it's just... uncomfortable, you know?


• We assume blanket permission for further transformation! What this means is that if you post something we really love, people will probably write sequels, missing scenes, and generally expand on your idea. Possibly right there in the comments. This only covers fanart and fanfiction, however — podfic is opt-in, which you can do with this form.


• Anon commenting is on! Mostly because I assume most of us don't have DWs yet. Please use it well and, if it's not too much trouble, consider signing your posts. Anon commenting may go away in the future, or only be turned on for certain posts.
