Discord

This is a community for Silver Queen's Naruto fanfiction Dreaming of Sunshine. We really really like it! This community is most often used for the Dreaming of Sunshine exchange, but other people can post here — posting rules are on the comm profile. You can also talk to us on the Heliocentrism discord server.

Here's a countdown.

All works must be posted on AO3 and complete in about 24 hours. I will default anyone who does not post their assignment, and you will owe a make up work before the next round. Pinch hits will go out soon after the deadline.

How do I post my work?

Go to your Assignment page on AO3, which you can find under the "Assignments" link on your Profile page, or on the Chocolate Box subcollection page as "Your Assignment". You should see two buttons at the bottom of your assignment: "Post to fulfil", and "Default".

Click "Post to fulfil", and you'll be taken to a posting form. This will automatically post your work into the current year's challenge. It also has your recipient's name already filled in. All you need to do is fill in the rest of the form, preview it to make sure it looks okay, and post.

If you're posting a Treat, you won't have an assignment or "post to fulfil" button. Instead, go to the current challenge page on the AO3, and click on "Post To Collection" under the challenge title. This will take you to a form with the challenge collection name already filled in. Fill in the recipient's name manually, then fill in the rest of the form, preview it to make sure it looks okay, and post.

Treating

You can make extra gifts! I will have a treatless list out a little after assignments are due (maybe the next morning) so that we can see who might need a treat most, but you can also just, you know, treat based on whose assignments you like! Treats don't have to follow the exchange minimums (they can be less than 500 words, for example) but they should still obey DNWs.
